AUTOMATED PROGRAMMABLE SYSTEM
The Totally Automated System does everything the Standard Turbo System does and more. The Programmable Electronic Controller comes with a programmable keypad. By following the prompts on the screen, the user can program the controller to provide ionisation and oxidation for specific days of the week and times of the day. This eliminates the need to manually change the system from ionisation to oxidation and back again.
Controlling the pH of the water is an important requirement for operating the ECOsmarte systems. Rising pH can be adjusted downward by adding muriatic acid to the pool water.
The Totally Automated Pool System eliminates the need to regularly add acid to lower pH through the use of CO2 injection into the pool water. Carbon dioxide injected into the water will help keep the pH stable and thereby eliminates the need to handle muriatic acid.
No sensors to calibrate or replace and pH becomes predictable and often allows weeks without even testing.
Carbon dioxide has been used in the aquarium industry for over 30 years. ECOsmarte has been using it in swimming pools and spas for over 20 years and is the only manufacturer to eliminate sensors and the costly calibration and replacement. ECOsmarte uses proprietary software and Intel microchip technology.
The amount of CO2 needed to control pH varies greatly depending on the type of pool surface, the pH of the source water used to fill the pool and the pool water temperature. In moderate climates where the water pH is below 7.6, only a moderate amount of CO2 is needed. Most pool owners are able to arrange for CO2 canisters to be replaced by a local bottled gas company on a bi-monthly schedule.
The flow rate is preset to meet the maximum demand for CO2 pH control. The controller actuates the flow control solenoid valve to provide pH correction. Maintenance of the flow control unit is minimal. The time for CO2 injection can be adjusted to minimize the cost of tank refills.
By simply performing regular water testing twice per week during the first month after installation, the user will be able to determine the amount of time needed for adequate CO2 injection. Many sites can operate on just two CO2 tanks with an optional ECOsmarte “switchover manifold” per season, with either 20lb or 50lb cylinders.
The Totally Automated Pool System is the perfect solution for pool owners who do not have the time or ability to check their water chemistry on a weekly basis during the swimming season. Pool owners who are away from home for several weeks at a time and do not want to worry about the condition of the swimming pool water while they are away would also benefit from the Totally Automated System.
The Totally Automated Pool System is ideal for pool owners that want total automation and also experience significant fluctuation in the pH of their pool water.
